Description:
Responding to a growing demand for qualified Human Resources (HR) professionals, Atkinson's Bachelor of Human Resources Management (BHRM) degree provides you with specialized training in all aspects of HR management. Housed in the School of Administrative Studies, the program builds on Atkinson's existing strength in the field including the largest core of HR management professors in Canada, outstanding HR research and the recent establishment of the International Alliance for Human Resources Research at Atkinson. As a unique feature of the program, you benefit from a curriculum that draws on a range of disciplines including Business, Economics, History, Social Sciences, Psychology, Philosophy, Political Science, Nursing, Sociology and Women's Studies. This integrated approach enables you to develop the research, analytical and management skills that will help you to become a successful professional, able to deal effectively with a variety of employee and organizational issues. The HR Management program is also excellent preparation for graduate studies in a number of business-related fields such as HR, Business Administration and Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
