Description:
While pursuing this Certificate, so relevant to current events in Canada, you will explore issues around refugees and their status in Canada through topical courses in Canadian Studies, History, Sociology, Social Sciences and Political Science. The Certificate provides you with a thorough examination of definitions, refugee rights and ethical norms, as well as Canadian policy and the treatment of refugees in specific regions of the world including Africa, Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
