Hong Kong Baptist University Collaboration with U.S. CPA Success
Hong Kong, December 9, 2002 – Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) is pleased to announce it will be offering a U.S. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preparatory program in collaboration with U.S. CPA Success <www.uscpasuccess.com/hk>.
Internationally, the U.S. CPA is increasingly the professional accounting designation of choice. Trade with the United States is very important and growing and the U.S. capital markets are vital to the world economy. Multinational firms, often based in the United States, are also growing in importance. Accountants who qualify as U.S. CPAs find that they not only acquire a widely recognized professional accounting credential but also valuable knowledge which they can use in furthering their own careers and the interests of their employers and clients.
Our new U.S. CPA Preparatory Program is designed for accountants, university graduates and students to enable them to qualify as U.S. CPAs as efficiently as possible. The program is adapted specifically for Hong Kong based on U.S. CPA Success' many years of experience in offering courses in Hong Kong and throughout Asia.
In anticipation of the November 5-6, 2003 exam administration, the first session of our program will be held in July 2003. Instruction will comprise 5 intensive classroom days in July and will include personal support after the course and a one-day classroom review session in October. U.S. CPA Success' U.S. CPA Preparatory Program is known internationally for its consistently high pass rates.
U.S. CPA Success will also be offering an Introduction to U.S. Income Taxation course offered in collaboration with Canada’s Athabasca University <www.uscpasuccess.com/ustax> in Hong Kong in August 2003. The course examines the American income tax system including its purpose and administration. The calculation of income for tax purposes is examined in detail and the procedures used to calculate personal, business, and corporate taxable income in common situations are presented. The course is suited for individuals seeking an introduction to U.S. income tax for continuing professional education or general interest. It qualifies for university credit and meets the requirements set out by the Delaware State Board of Accountancy as a prerequisite for the U.S. Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination.
The above programs use high quality materials and instructors. All instructors have excellent student ratings, many years of teaching experience and, in addition to their U.S. CPA, at least one other professional accounting designation.
Hong Kong Baptist University, founded in 1956, is well known for its innovative and broad-based interactive programs, academic excellence, international perspective, and commitment to quality assurance.
U.S. CPA Success specializes in preparing candidates for the U.S. CPA Exams and offers live classroom sessions for both the U.S. Uniform CPA Exam and the U.S. CPA Reciprocity (IQEX) Exam.
